Over the past few weeks I have tried quite a few different places to download aircraft from. Quite a lot of them direct you ultimately to the Avsim site. Out of all of the aircraft I have had a go with recently, my preference seems to be IFDG.
I have tried to keep to models that will suit my requirements, which at the moment is the 757. I have the BA Union Flag G-CPEO, Monarch and Britannia variants and they are great. However, whenever I have tried to download A319/320 and 321 models, the sound plays up chronically. I have been offered some suggestions by you guys which appear to work at first but always result in a high pitched static noise right at a vital part of the flight. Is the Microsoft's way of excluding French aircraft from their sim (joke).
Anyway, back to the original question, who do you think is the best provider of downloadable aircraft and why??

IFDG=> Best for Airbus narrowbody
MELJET=>Best 777 and excellent 744
POSKY=>Best Airbus widebody, excellent 744, excellent 757, excellent 767, excellent CRJs
Kitty Hawk=>Very good 737
FFX=>Very good 737
SGA=>Excellent A300, excellent DC-9 and MD-8X
Dreamwings=>Excellent E170, and supposedly excellent DH8 (I have never tried the later)
PANELS=>Ken Mitchell has very good panels but it took me a while to get them to work. Eric Marciano has a good A32X panel. A340 is part of a package that you have to buy
And since I'm on the A340 note, there is not a single A345 or A346 out there that is decent (other than FSP's AI model). They are all crap! The nose looks like sh!t. I mean, I don't get how some people can get the nose of a A342/343 right while the guys at simubuild and the other group that makes the -5 and -6 cannot even get it close...
