.cfg Files!?

Hi guys,
I just downloaded my first add-on! However, I have to add some text into the FS9 default file XXXX.cfg. With which program do I open this file? It will open with word, however, I can only save it again as a word file....cfg is not an option.

You guys have done this 45367791227 times before, so perhaps you could help me out?!

I would try opening the .cfg file with Wordpad. This is what I have always used and it has no problem saving back to the .cfg file, just click exit and when it asks you if you want to save the changes, just click yes!

LOL Good luck! Soon you'll be downloading so many addons you will not be able to see your wallpaper through all the zip files on your desktop (I've been there many a time!)
