Well not a lot of information or pictures but exciting news from PSS.
There website states that there brand new BOEING 777-200LR & BOEING 777-300ER for FS9 should be out this summer! It said early this summer.
Do you guys think it will be out this early? Cant wait! Finally a good 777 add on with FMC Overhead and all for FS9. http://www.phoenix-simulation.co.uk/
Man 777-200LR range is what around 9,000nm! Wow can fly alot of flights with this plane.

One thing that worries me is that they say that the virtual cockpit will have more functionality than the 2D panel.
I personally use the 2D panel a lot more than the VC (I almost never, ever, use the VC), so I'm hoping that I won't be losing too much.
But other than that, I'm looking forward to the plane. I don't think it'll be here in early summer though, since those kinds of things never come out on time - I look for it in August.

Your right I did not see that. I hope the 2D panel is good. I only use the VC for Takeoff and sometimes durring taxi after completing checklist.
Also would use a landing view if they have. But I wonder what can be in the VC that is not in the 2D maybe just a few exrtra switches on the windows or something. Hopefully nothing important.
Wonder if it will be as good as PMDG 737?

Right now there are remaking there 777 and making a 757 two planes that dont have add ons for FS9. I would not imagine them going for a 747 since PMDG is making a 747. But the 777 and 757 were great ideas.

But remember that Level-D sim is working on a 757 version to.
If I have to choose between the 757 from PSS or Level-D I would say Level-D.
PSS makes good products, I only made one big mistake once, and that was buying all livery's for the A330 and A340. Cost me a fortune and I never used their model .
It will be a big day when PSS descides not to sell their livery's, but offering them for free, Like PMDG and Level-D.
Good news they are working hard on the 777. Since FS9 is out, I am dying to get a descent 777 panel.

Don't forget PMDG are also rumoured to have a 777 lined up after the 744 and MD-11. I'm inclined to wait for this. PSS are good, but not as good as PMDG or Level-D. Just compare PSS's VC shot (OK it's not finished but still...) with the PMDG 744 VC recent presentation.
I agree I think the LDS 757 would be the better choice over a PSS 757. The 757 does not require a huge amount of panel altering to LDS's panel, which is exceptional. The LDS team comprises many from the original PIC project, so they have a lot of experience in this type of panel.
Also, why would PSS choose only to do the 777LR and 773ER? Why not the other 777s? No doubt many people will pair the PSS panel, FDE and sounds to Meljet's models.

True, but how long will that project take?
I will buy first PSS, and when PMDG will descide what to do, I can alway buy that one later on.

I don't get that either. I beleve PSS will make a uge mistake with this one. First of all that their livery's aren't for free, and only 2 models that not so many companies fly with yet.
If they will get any 777 competition, they will loose that battle for shure.

Who knows how long it will take for the 777 to come out. Yet alone the 747.
I have only heard good things about PSS A340/330 Pro so I would imagine it will be like the A340/330 pack.
I have Dash-8 Pro and love it. Only bad thing is not a great FMC but besides for that great plane.
I sure do hope its a good add on as I been waiting for a 777 add on for FS9 since it came out. I really want to fly one or two types of planes most of the times four-five max. I would like it to be 50/50 with PSS 777 and PMDG 737 and also putting PSS Dash-8 Flight1 Cessna 411 and RFP 742.
With the 777-200LR I will be able to use the 777 on flight I could only use the 744 on. Now the 777-200LR will fly farther than a 744! Hope it comes out in early summer like they said but I doubt it.

Have you heard about the model?
If you are looking for the really high quality add ons, buy the LDS 767. It's a fantastic package all round, a few bugs but there's a patch on the way, and it leaves the PSS A330/340 trailing, frankly. I have both packages and I haven't touched the PSS since buying the 767.
That's not to say the 777 won't be a good purchase - PSS have a lot of past experience with this aircraft. But I will wait and read the reviews before leaping in to buy it. I suspect I will be kept busy enough with the LDS 767 and PMDG 744 this summer.

Is PMDG 744 coming out this summer? I really have a decsion to make. I would think PMDG 744 will be better than PSS 777 but I a 777 fan my self. Man guess I will just have to wait for reviews when they come out. I sure PMDG 744 will be great. Just hope PSS 777 will be 70% as good.
