Yes it’s May 2005, and as time passes, June nears. June will be an important month, after all it will be 1 year since the idea of Air Lambert was first spoken, and the 25th will be the launch of our long haul services.
But this doesn’t mean May isn’t important. This is the month when the Airbus A318 enters operations with us and the 747-200 takes to the skies with its fresh coat of Air Lambert colours.
So, let’s get started.

Our first Airbus A318 has been delivered and will enter service sometime this week on the Manchester and Jersey runs. G-LMDA, Pride of Jersey, will operate the same route structure daily (LGW-JER-LGW-MAN-LGW-JER-LGW) until Sunday, when ‘DB’ enters service. The other flights on this route will be operated by the Airbus A319 until the A318 takes over completely at the end of the month. Here are some photos of our first A318 on her delivery flight:
CABIN CREW RECORDINGS
The first cabin crew recordings are complete. The standard safety video (audio only) is done for all types. Here is an example from our brand new A318:
Our long haul product is officially launched and will be on the site within the coming week. Here it is:
All classes will have amenity kits

LONG HAUL CABIN FITTINGS
Boeing 747-200- will be the first to be done, starting tomorrow
Boeing 757-200- will follow later this month
Airbus A330-200’s- will arrive from Toulouse fitted
‘Worldwide Explorer’ A330- continue World tour after break and last to be fitted in mid-June.

B747-200 FIRST PHOTOS
The 747 is now painted and took to the skies for the first time in Air Lambert livery on a test flight around NCL (Newcastle, UK) today. Photos to come next month.
