Hey everyone.
After seeing such fantastic screenshots on this site, I feel like my FS experience sucks b/c it's just not as realistic. Can you guys guide me, so that I can have the best FS experience?
1) What is the best FS program altogether?
a) what kind of computer is necessary for it to run well?
2) What is the best place to get add-on planes to fly?
b) why do I have a lot of trouble flying planes in FS (2002). For instance,
I cannot fly ANY IFDG A320 or any A330/A340, I take off (usually they
accelarate on the runway VERY slowly, so they use up almost the whole
thing if not more...) and then the planes just level off and descend...
HUH? WHY!?
3) What is the ABSOLUTE BEST BEST BEST AI package / program to use?
a) where are the best quality ones?
4) What are the best addons to get?
a) to make airlines stay at their proper gates at airports
b) to make airplanes park RIGHT NEXT to jetways, and to have LOTS AND
LOTS of AI traffic?
Please help! I'd love to have a great FS experience!!!

A330Fan1,
You sure have an amazing wish list! I guess to be able to give good advice we would really need to know how much you are willing to pay. Also having a good PC and running FS2004 would help you out.
I think you will get different answers from different people, it is all in the taste and wants.
There is not one correct answer to your questions. As regards to getting planes to park at the right gate you need to set that up. I am sure those who do that will answer you on that.
Get a good PC or upgrade what you have, give us your specs!

OK I will answer these by numbers and letters corresponding to which you asked, as best as I can!!
1). Flight Simulator 2004
a). In truth, the best you can get for ultimate performance.
2). www.avsim.net
b). Never had this experience as such, only thing i can think of regarding the long take off roll is Unaltered Fuel and Payload (i.e Both full).
3/3a). Ultimate Traffic (IMO), but with FS Painter / AI Aardvark models and repaints.
4). Depending on what you want, AVSIM normally has the best.
a). Good AFCAD files.
b). again, good AFCAD files for the particular airport.

Make sure your pitch is set right and flaps are set and wieghts.
Are you using a joystick. Dont know why it would just level off if you are pulling up.
PMDG 737NG is the best add on. But you will have to pay.
They are also coming out with a 744.

I'd go with this:
Took me a hell of a long time to get it all, but it's finally up and running. A friend of mine just gave me a video projector from an L-1011 - I'm going to use it for the primary display. Perhaps someday I'll invest in Project Magenta as well!
