Hi All,
I am in search of a non-payware 737-600 for FS2K4...I have been searching for a while now and all I have come across on flightsim.com, avsim, etc are a 737-500 called a -600 and the PDMC payware -600, plus a lot of AI -600's. I currently run JetWest Airlines (jetwestair.com) which I am in the process of turning into a fully automated operation. Before I can do this, however, I would like to get true FS2K4 aircraft for each type we operate....no problem finding the rest (BE1, EM2, ERJ, 73G, 738, 752), just the pesky -600. Any help would be appreciated!

I couldn't find any freeware 737-600's so maybe you should just make a JetWest repaint for the PMDG 736 and make a note that this repaint requires the PMDG 736. As for your airline, i'm thinking about joining but I think you need to add a couple more express a/c to your fleet (ie Beech 1900, CR7) and how bout an A319 or A320 while your at it. Just a suggestion.

Aaron,
Thanks for the info. As for additional express planes, the BE1 will be added soon. JetWest is in the process of being overhauled before we unveil the new website, scheme, and route structure. JetWest's fleet will consist of BE1, EM2, ERJ, 736, 73G, 738, 752. Also, a new airline that has been in the works will aslo be available to any JetWest pilot to be called Sprint Jet, based at MCI. SJ will initially operate the E90, M83, and 752, but I intend for SJ to become a larger airline than JetWest, and eventually to include a much larger express and widebody fleet than JetWest.
I'll email you with more information as it comes available.

Quoting Jc2354 (Reply 5): Replace the air file, and you've a great airplane. Tweak the CFG for your preferences. Extremely friendly frame rates. Give it a try.
This sounds like an Idea as the AI Aardvark model looks pretty good. While I have a fair amount of knowledge when dealing with FS add ons, changing the .air file and tweaking the cfg are a bit beyond my grasp at this point....any pointers in how to make this AI aircraft look and fly good?
Thanks,
Don
PS--
Quoting EclipseFlight7 (Reply 4): And why would you have Canadairs and Embraers in the same fleet? Frankly I don't see any airline that has both NG 737's and and A320's realistic.
Exactly why I do not and will not have both Embraers and Canadairs or 737NG's and A32X's in any fleet of any airline I operate =)
Realism is most important, which is why I also hand schedule every aircraft, with all scheduling based on the system WN uses to schedule. Anyone interested in the raw schedules behind the published on jetwestair.com is more than welcom to take a look at a copy, just email me!
