I spent the afternoon today going through my airline paraphernalia. I had no idea I had as much stuff as I did. My closet really is a black hole of sorts.
Anyway, I have, in my possession, a number of items that might be of interest to some of you. I will sell or trade them.
First are some ticket jackets. I have no idea when or how they came into my possession as I don’t collect non-US stuff. Plus, some of them are a bit old, adding to their vintage value.
Anyway, here’s the list:
3 Air Canada “Executive Class” ticket jackets, dated November 1989
1 Mexicana ticket jacket, looks pretty old. Date not printed
1 Avianca ticket jacket, also not dated, but looks pretty old
1 QANTAS ticket jacket, dated November 1983
1 Finnair ticket jacket, dated January 1985
1 Air Canada ticket jacket, dated June 1985
1 British Caledonian ticket jacket, not dated. When did BCAL go under? It's at least that old.
12 VASP ticket jackets, not dated
1 Japan Air Lines ticket jacket, not dated, but looks pretty old
2 Canadian Air Lines Canadian Plus enrollment forms, dated November 1991
Approximately 75 old livery Air Canada 747-400 luggage tags. They are the same shape and size as standard business cards. They have the AC logo and a drawing of the 744 in color on the front, and blank lines for entering your name and address on the back. Dated March 1992
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
I am offering these items for sale or trade for US Airline memorabilia. All items I am offering are in good to mint physical condition. Please refer to specific item for its condition.
If any of you are interested in some or all of these items, please remember that I do NOT collect non-US items. So don’t offer me a Croatia Airlines barf bag in exchange for the Air Canada ticket jackets, because I will not accept it. I collect US and US items only. I will be interested in any US items prior to 1991. If you are offering me a US item after 1991, please tell me what it is first and I’ll let you know if I want it or not. Or, e-mail me, and we can negotiate a cash price for the item(s) you want. I am offering these items to my fellow Airliner fans. If no one takes me up on any of these items, they will go in the trash can.
Second, are some vintage US items. I have far more of them then I need. So here’s the list. Please refer to terms and conditions.
Reno Air timetables. Lots and lots of Reno Air timetables, all from 1992 and 1993
Reno Air ticket jackets from 1992
Reno Air luggage tags, dated September 1992
3 World Airways “Ultra Service” ticket jackets, not dated
Old livery United Airlines luggage tags, dated April 1991
Old livery Continental luggage tags, dated March 1986
2 Wings of The World ticket jacket, not dated, but probably from 1993
Old Livery First Class United Airlines adhesive luggage tags
1989 livery USAir luggage tags (3 different designs)
1 roll of old livery America West packaging tape

Yes, I have numerous other items, but no, I am not parting with any of them at this time. The above lists are all inclusive to everything I have available at this time.
Thank you for looking
Matt

I would also like to add to this list that I found 4 pairs of Eastern Airlines kiddie wings that I'll put up for sale or trade as well.

Thanks Gary!! You are right, and all of my stuff is sealed and tucked away. But that list doesn't even scratch the surface of what I have. What I posted are merely "excess" items.
Sushka: I'll sell everything on the list to you for the bargain price of $50 USD +shipping (I'm assuming you're out of the US) since you are interested in the whole package.
I think thats a steal considering how much is there, plus the vintage of it.
If you want to go forward with this transaction, please e-mail me at MJDinWC@AOL.com

Due to a lack of interest in these items, they have now been disposed of.
