Adding Windows To Panels In FS2004

Hi,

Does anyone know about how to stop windows manually added to panel.cfg from appearing behind the main panel?

I've had a fair amount of experience manually tweaking the panel.cfg but this problem seems difficult to solve. I've spent ages trawling the web looking for some documentation but without success. Today I was adding a TCAS gauge onto a panel and for some reason when I activated the window in FS9 (i.e. shift+8) the TCAS window wouldn't appear. After hiding the main panel window ([window00]) I realised the TCAS window was displayed behind.

I think it might be something to do with the ident= line in panel.cfg but it didn't seem to work when I fiddled with it, plus I don't want to mess up the click icons.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
