Looks OK to me. I guess the only comment I have is that you might want to get a bigger monitor at some point but that's always the way.
I'm rapidly coming to the conclusion that the best PC is one dedicated to FS. I mean, I don't care a lot if something slows my SQL Server or internet access by 15% but I don't want anything interfering with FS. It would also make it much easier to troubleshoot FS whereas I'm less inclined to fine-tune other applications. Not just at the moment, though!

I dont think Windows XP MCE is the best o/s to run FS9 on, but I dont think it will make that much of a difference.

I run FS9 on media center I dont find a difference at all. Infact Xp MCE is just Xp professional with a registry extension that include media center. Although i do recommend a larger screen.

Do you know what that registy key does? It enables a few memory hogging processes that you dont find on XP Home or XP Pro. It adds some new services that automatically start by default consuming some more ram. Again, your talking to a person that was a member of the short lived MCE 2005 beta program. I could email them and ask if you would like to know more.

I never knew that MCE consumed RAM when it wasn't running. Although when recording I thought that it was only the non-hardware enabled tuners that took up RAM. I never notice problems any problems when playing FS while recording TV. I am also using the PMDG 737 at the same time.
