Hello,
Yes, it’s suddenly July which means time for an update. June was a fantastic month overall with a brand new site and our entrance to the Worldwide market.
LONG HAUL LAUNCHED
Long Haul is going fantastic. The staff assigned to the aircraft involved seem to be flying regularly and enjoying doing so. The actual aircraft are doing well although we are looking into different options for the LGW-HKG and MAN-MCO routes at this current time, as the 330 isn’t the ideal option.
We are in the final stages of acquiring two more Boeing 757-200’s from US Airways which are currently stored in Mojave, USA. They too, as with ‘ZA’, are 1993 build and still have many of year’s life left. If the deal is finalised it is very likely that they will both be winglet fitted for their long haul duties.
'The Simpsons' is just one of the many programmes to choose from with our AVOD Entertainment.
NEW WEBSITE
We launched the new website just before L/H ops and it has had a fantastic response. We are currently almost doubling our visitors to the website each month and this growth is fantastic for us. We felt a new site was needed to reflect the image and feeling of Air Lambert and this has been succeeded.
We have recently opened the chatroom which is JAVA supported. Feel free to pop in at any time and say ‘hello’, it’s open for non-staff too! We are also working on organising flash maps, the latest way of displaying your destinations, for the “Travelling” page. The Long Haul class index will be on the site in the next couple of days and the fleet page is now full active with download links.
AIRBUS ORDER BOOST
We have recently boosted our current order with Airbus. We have added 2 A319’s and 1 A320 to the list of 3 A318’s and 1 A321. The A319’s will form the backbone of the EDI (Edinburgh, Scotland) operation whilst the A320 will help increase capacity on much needed key routes. The aircraft will mean a significant growth for us for the Winter 05 season. Destinations announced August/September.
B73G GONE
Both 737-700’s have now stood down and a mix of A319/A320 aircraft are covering currently. They will be sold to British One1, Air Newcastle or West Express Airways.
AIR LAMBERT’S NEXT PROJECT
Now that long haul is launched and out of the way it’s back to the drawing board for our next project. We are in Stage II currently and will be announcing it next month. It will involve a completely different market and onboard experience to the current Air Lambert ops and involves a lot of research for us to ensure a success with this new area.
Happy flying,
Sam Lambert

Despite the name I am a Boeing man through and through!

Hi Sam,
Good stuff as always. I am sure that installing the AVOD systems, and concentrating on your Long Haul project for a while are the ingredients for a successful Long-Haul operation.
It is a shame to see the 737NG's go I must say, but as you said, they are not needed.
The Website is very good, with fresh and inviting colours, well done on that.
I look forward to hearing the destinations to be announced following your Airbus order, as well as hearing about Air Lamberts' Next Project.
Continue the good work Sam, the improvements and installments to the Airline lately are going to be additional keys to success!

Rumours are going around that Air Lambert are getting 777s for flights from LGW to Luanda. Any truth in this?
