It's been only about 6 months or so since I discovered these beautiful models. I'm very proud of the collection I've built up in that short time.
I'm curious to see what kind of collections you have.
Anyway, here's my list:
By the way, does anyone know if either mfr plans to do any DC-9/MD-80/MD-90/717 models?

I can see that you guys are a heck of plane collectors. How do you get all that much money? Dragon Wings and Gemini Jets is getting expensive these days and I wanna know what is the average price of a plane you bought?

you are right, those models are quite expensive.
The average for either Dragon or Gemini is 24/25 $ but if you have to order it on the internet and have them shipped from overseas like me you end spending bout 35$ each. Way too much, that's why I have decided to slow down in buying them. One per month should be fine.

Which website you ordered the models from?? Are they reliable??
Because in Singapore, the price for GJ is much more expensive than in US (around S$45-50 for normal models, even more for special models), so if the internet gives me a cheaper alternative, I will straight away use them.
My collection so far :
DRAGON WINGS :
Austrian Airlines A321-200 "Johann Strauss"
Garuda Indonesia A330-300
Airbus Industrie A340-300 "Zhuhai Commemorative"
Singapore Airlines B777-300 "Jubilee"
New York Air B737-400
TAP Air Portugal B737-400 "Expo 98"
Canadian B747-400 "Team Canada"
STAR JETS :
Braniff International DC8-32 "Blue Livery"
HERPA WINGS :
United Airlines B747SP "Friendship One"

my favourite source when it comes to order GeminiJets is www.airplaneshop.com which is also the one linked to airliners.net (You can find it in the homepage).
When I orderd Dragonwings I did it through the british CAM but I have been disappointed more than once: they took many weeks to send me the models and they put as available models that they don't have so I am still waiting for my Singapore A340 and Qantas 744. Their prices are high because of the British Pound but the shipping fee is very cheap.
Fortunatley I prefer GJ to DW and I have only a couple of Dragon models left to buy: CO 764 and US A330 but I won't order them in UK again.
There are many other good site, most of all in USA but my problem is the high custom fee when they use express couriers to ship models. Once infact I had to pay 40$ extra at the delivery after having paid the models and 16 $ of shipping. When they use normal Postal service I don't have such problem.

Sorry for not returning to this topic for quite sometime. Sorry, didn't have the time.
Hey Charles, I know Stefano too. Get to know him, he is a darn good friend of mine but I have never met him before. But I always speaked my problems to him... kudos Stefano! So how are your tests coming Charles? Never got your email anymore.
The MD-90s were great. But I think I will wait for more interesting airlines rather than US airlines.

Yap. I agree with Stefano on this, I am very disappointed with CAM. They list models that they currently don't have on their websites so when you by chance order it, you got to wait for a very long time. I am really fed up with them, I ordered months ago and they haven't shipped it I reckon.

Im Chris and I live in Plymouth, UK, and I get all my Dragon wings and Gemini Jets and Armour 1-48 die cast from a great shop in Manchester, who despatch next day, and can get hold of rare jets if you ask nicely. The lady who runs it is called Sharon, and she is really very nice, so if you go to the online shop (which is also very good) and you place an order, tell her Chris sent you. I tried a lot of different model aviation shops, so far http://www.abcjets.com & http://www.eztoyz.com is the best in service & prices! specially with lowest price guarantee policy I Pre-order all my models from them, no one has the variety that they have.
