I wish I spoke German right now. I may being stupid, but is this just a thing for fun where you can fly virtual aircraft on virtual routes and just be a sim pilot for the online airline? Or do you actually have to be a pilot? Because I applied, but it was all in German once I clicked OK after the application so I have no idea what happened.

Hi Antonis!

You can always change the language to english on the homepage!
And NO, you don't have to be a real pilot, it is based around fun and enjoying the virtual routes of SWISS!

Let me know if you got accepted and what Aircraft program interests you!

Hi. Yes I got accepted and I would like to fly the A340 if possible, or the AVRO. I don't know what to do to log in and start flying! haha. Do I have to go through training school? If so, how do I do that? It's all quite ambiguous in my view.

I sure hope you guys provide a more stable experience than my last, oh, 11 VA's that disbanded.

(It wasn't my fault.)

But I guess I'll go into more detail if/when I get my pilot ID, but back in the old days I was VP for the first Swiss approved VA. Maybe if FTG hadn't played dirty...

Holy sh*ts and burritos.

Hi TIS!

It depends on what your experience is regarding the A340,
You will need to know the basic airbus principle as well as a master in weather and NAT routes!
you can always contact me at cp.airbus@swiss-va.com for further info!
and don't forget that our A343 routes a almost all +10 hour flights!

The AVRO program is currently being formed and almost complete!
it will use Matthias Lieberecht's brand new ARJ panel!

We are approved as the only licensed VA by Lufthansa and SWISS, and we have a lot of personal capital available for the use of the VA, our homepage can tell you more!

also stay tuned for VSAT guys!
Virtual Swiss Aviation Training, it will provide you with realistic Type Ratings to provide your flying experience rather then amounts of hours for rewarding a type of aircraft, this time you will need to know your aircraft, and be rewarded with a type rating, for our Airbus fleet it will be the most usable, simple difference training and CCQ are available too in the future, true mixed fleet flying is possible, just as our real parent!

also novice pilots are welcome and will be trained on our brand new Beechcraft Baron's based in Bern to recieve the virtual ATPL!
pilots with experience can do the vATPL exam and earn the vATPL directly!
it will include a theoretical and practical section!

once you have a pilot number,
contact me!
try to learn as much as you can on the Beechcraft Baron and if you test fly do it in Bern,
it will be your homebase for a few weeks before you move to Zurich, you will be set to a fleet at your own choice after that and start training on them!

anyone interested in the vATPL, can always contact me!
the only requirement is basic aircaft knowledge and a LX pilot number!
