MS FS2000 Something Wrong

I've got 2 disks with MS FS2000 and have just installed it all, swapping the disks over half way through like it asks.

I've gone to load it up from the icon it's put on my desk top and it says "please insert correct CD-ROM. Select OK and restart the application".

I've tried it with both disks and the same thing is happening. Am I missing a disk?  Sad

I believe 2000 was only two disk. However, get a copy of FS9!

FS2000 came in 2 forms:

FS2000 Standard and FS2000 Professional

FS2000 Standard had 2 disks

FS2000 Pro had 3 disks.

Are these original disks or copies? FS2000 had a write protect written in to it and if you don't cheat it, then it won't work.

Also do a google search for FS2000 no cd. See if that brings a patch up.

Of course, I wouldn't be insinuating anything illegal here.  innocent

If you have Icons on your desk top then the install was compleated. (i.e. You have the Standard version) If you have 2 CD/DVD drives, Make sure that you have disk in the same drive you installed the game with.
