What scale do you think is best???? I like 1/600th for fleet displays 1/400th and 1/500th for airport displays and 1/200th scale hanging from the ceiling. What scale is most popular???  airplane   airplane   airplane

Hi Braniff1968! Welcome to A.net!  Smile

Actually you might get a better answer by posting this kind of question in the AvHobby forum... otherwise you might get flamed by a whole bunch of people...  Smile (been there done that)

As for your question: 1/500, all the way!

I would say 1/400 IMO. No way even the new generation Herpa's are as detailed and realistic as the 1/400 GJ's, DW's, and Aeroclassics. The only thing that seperates the two scales is that there is a greater variety available in 1/500...but that gap is rapidly closing. In the end it is whatever makes you happy.

I use:
1:600-airport display
1:500-waiting to get enough to bother making a seperate airport
1:200-display model
1:250-My An124 display model
