Hey,

I think the onyl thing that you can do is the following:

First Air

Montreal-Kujjuaq-Iqaluit-Rankin Inlet-Yellowknife

or

Ottawa-Iqaluit-Rankin Inlet-Yellowknife

Appears to be LONG and more than likely very expensive. I'll kepp checking for you though.

Edit: I have found these in Expedia:

Air Canada

Departing 20 January, Returning 27 January.

Montreal-Calgary-Edmonton-Yellowkife

Still long, and they are quoting a price of $ 1,310.98 CAD

A bit expensive, but if you are willing to spend that for a DC-3 then go for it

Thanks
Mike

You can also fly Canadian North from Calgary, Edmonton or Ottawa (via Iqaluit and Rankin Inlet) up to Yellowknife and take the DC-3 to Hay River. Also Canadian North has flights between Hay River and Edmonton.

I looked at a few random flights and the ones I looked at Canadian North was sometimes hundreds of dollars cheaper than First Air. Also with Canadian North you can get on the last F-28 flying in Canada, enjoy some of the nicest 737-200Combis around, have some decent inflight service, and points from Air Canada's frequent flyer program can be used.
