AA For FS?

Is it just me or is it realy hard to find an American Airlines jet to download on www.flightsim.com or come to that anyware? For FS2000 or FS98 They have all the other airlines, planes but no AA? Why is this? Is is some lame ass copy right s**t or what?
please help!  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

I was thinking the same myself, but actually there are a few places where you can find them.
Try these:

I believe most of these are FS5(convertible to 98) and FS98.

Yes, American Airlines about 1 year ago found out that people were making FS Aircraft using thier Logos and titles. AA got pissed and made Flightsim.com take all AA aircraft off the site.

God i hate AA! Who gives a f**k if they paint aircarft for downloading on a website, i mean does it realy matter? It's not causing them any problems. Typical.

Not quite. AA had an exclusive agreement with a commercial add-on developer by the name of Papa Tango which gave the company the exclusive right to sell AA planes for MSFS. This was the real reason why all freeware AA planes were asked to be taken off flightsim.com. Not surprisingly, Papa Tango earned itself a very bad name though this extremely foolish move.
