- To mantain the AI traffic in "Instant Replay" and in videos of flights.
- Video converter to standard format (I think it can make promote very well FS outside)
- Better ground textures, (especially the mountains)
- More accurate water textures (especially colours)
- Better representation of the moments of day (where I live, in flight simulator the night starts 1.30-2 hours before than real).

variety is the spice of life; that's what made the "old times" so good

Hi,
It would be great to be able to press a button and switch so that you are acting as a simulated air traffic control, communicating with the planes and controlling airspace. I know that Microsoft Flight Simulator is meant to be a flight simulator but it would be great to see what it is like to be ATC.

1. Water spray and wet runways.
2. Violent and spectacular crashes, with accurate aircraft breakup and flames.
3. Much more efficient AI and ATC.
4. The ability to call in emergency landings.
5. Rescue vehicles at runway side during emergency landings. After landing, the vehicles chase the aircraft and the runway is temporarily closed.
6. 100% freedom of in-game camera movement. I don't wanna have to go into the .cfg file to move the cam for a wing view.
7. Microsoft to hook up with third party freeware developers such as Project Opensky and IFDG for aircraft.
8. Insanely awesome, yet framerate friendly airport scenery.
9. And, like LHRSIMON said a much easier way to add in AI.

if they included all this there wouldnt be any need for microsoft to bring out new flight sims which would mean less cash going there way ( although i dont think the cash flow from it is that major) and it would also mean we are stuck in a certain type of graphic so as graphics gets better ours start to look crapper and crapper

so in reality they might do a few of these but not to many

Hey,
I would like to see enhased airport scenery i.e: Gates at all commercial airports that in real life have gates and I would like gates that are realistic looking that move to your plane door when you pull up.

Commercial planes from Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, and some other RJ manufacturers.

It would be nice if they could buy trademarks from REAL airlines. Like perhaps the top 15 North American Airlines and top 5 North Amercan Cargo Companies and the top 15 European Airlines and the top 5 European Cargo companies.

Dump the old planes i.e. : DC3 Wright Flyer and the others.  Wink

Cheers,
Matt  wave

Then why do you care about panels, sounds, etc.? You can get those from the same source.

Microsoft deliberately tones down the crash experience to deter kids (like you?) crashing deliberately.

You can taxi them if you know how. They're meant to be hard to taxi, they're like that in real life.

Quoting Lrockeagle (Reply 15):

Shut down the engine and you're on the ground quickly enough.
If you want to look at the software playing with itself why not buy some videos and watch those?

because for the first 3-4 months there wont be many aircraft rolling off the download sites so i dont want to have to pay $60 and end up getting crap panels and sound as long as they were to put some commercial jets in

You could just wait until there's something that conforms to your skyhigh standards before purchasing the game...
Remember who the product is targeted at: MASS consumers.
For them the default panels are often more than complex enough, many of them already get frustrated with all the buttons and switches.

That's why there's an addon market in the first place...

 yes

1. To be able to dump fuel.
2. More gates
3.Airbuses
4.Better management of gates(ie:no Dash 8's in a 744's gate)

The only reason they did that was to commerorate some of the aircraft that changed the way we fly today. The title say it all 'Microsoft Flgith Simulator 2004: A Century of Flight' and of course they had to put the first powered plane in there aswell.

QFA380

25 Newark777: I guess you're right, I'd rather have more realistic than have the controls dumbed down for us. Like QFA380 said, any tips on the taxiing? Harry
26 NZ107: More realistic scheduled flights by the AI and more commercial traffic. Better airport scenery.. buildings and surroundings better. More cities added
