I was wondering if anybody had any of the following new products. Obviously they all look fantastic on the manufacturers website, but I was wondering if anybody could give a non byest review! Big grin

http://aerosoft-shop.com/product_info.php?products_id=110 << Looks great... framerate killer?

http://aerosoft-shop.com/product_info.php?cPath=1&products_id=73& << Worth the money?

http://www.flytampa.com/ << How are the FlyTampa products with framerates?

FIFTY NORTH vs WILCO PIC vs ARIANE DESIGN

http://www.arianedesign.com/
http://www.fiftynorth.com/
http://www.wilcopub.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=prod_737pic

Any views?

Now I'd love to buy all of them... but thats not going to happen! So im trying to find a worthwhile buy!

Thanks for any help,

I've got FlyTampa's KSEA scenery, and it's phenomenal! The framerates really aren't worse than the default scenery too - a real surprise!

Hey Gofly.

I have the FlyTampa Dubai scenery and I must say it is truly amazing! The framerates are better than my default Dubai scenery which is surprising. And the prices are pretty good as well since the dollar is pretty weak these days  Smile

The Frankfurt Scenery looks like a framerate killer to me , although the review says otherwise. Looks very good though!

The Faro looks like a freeware download from avsim.

Dunno about the 737's but the Fifity-North is attractive , look at the price!
But does it come with a panel and sound?

Although , the Wilco 737 seems your best bet.

I've read that before, but I looked at the screenshots and refused to believe it! Big grin Thanks guys.

I know, and quite pricey as well.  Smile

The panel is in development at the moment, and will be offered free to existing users. Not sure about the sound. You're right, the price is very good. But... I love the look of the ARIANE 737, but its so darn expensive!!  Sad

Thanks guys.  Smile

FT733OG is a super addition to the hanger, good panel, super soundset and a nice model. Few bugs but they will be fixed.

FlyTampa are probably the best scenery designers around and cant fault the details and frames.

Cheers...

I've got FlyTampa's

.....Tampa and Miami scenery, and contrary to what SA006 and EA CO AS say, it killed my computer and the quality is ok.

I regret making the purchase.

Perhaps after i get my new video card (please please please Santa !!!) it will improve.

The FRA package looks great.

This screenshot is from my KSEA FlyTampa scenery with lots of AI running. Check out the framerate listed:

This is with all sliders set to max, running my ATI Radeon X300SE 128MB PCI Express card - a very "entry-level" card at best. If you have a better card, expect to see much better framerates.

How are the FlyTampa products with framerates?

Its fantastic.

I have FlyTampa for Dubai, San Francisco, Seattle, San Diego, and Chicago Midway. - And with FULL traffic there is no worse an effect on framerates than what you have with the default. I love it!!

11 out of 10 for me.

I did, thanks! I finally found one that incorporated a good level of reflection without the "pulsating" water effect. I'm at the office right now so I can't tell you the filename, but it was from someone who had tweaked a few existing water textures until he got it to his liking.

Talk about eating fram rates for breakfast! That Frankfurt scenery look awesome but will bring most computers to a halt, unless you have a super computer! I have the FlyTampa KSAN and that doesnt really make a whole lot of difference to frame rates, very good value for money.

Currently all you get is a basic model with that purchase. No panel, no sound, and no wing view. If what Gofly says about the panel being under developement is true, then I can't wait to snap it up.

The Frankfurt scenery is hot. Beautifully textured.

As far as MG 737's go, go out and buy the Wilco 737, made by FeelThere. Right now they only have the -300, but eventually the 4 and 5 will come.

Just want to add , a nice thing about FlyTampa's scenery is the price...Very good price and the scenery is top-notch.

There's rumours of a FlyTampa Kai Tak to be designed , can't wait for that if it does happen.

I'm looking at buying a few more sceneries from them , I am so impressed by the Dubai scenery.

FRA looks so nice! But yet, I'm sure its nothing but a gourmet eatery specializing in Framerates. I have the Simflyers FRA, and its decent. I have FlyTampa SFO, as I fly mostly UA flights- and it is superb. If you fly out of SFO regularly, you MUST get it. My frame rates are normal too. I wish that they would design an IAD, as the Simflyers is good, but could be better (trees around the runway, for one thing). The only complaint I have about FlyTampa, is that the scenery is static: no moving jetways or service vehicles.

I have the SimFlyers KPHX and KIAH sceneries, and they're framerate monsters - but then again, I've got massive amounts of AI running around too.

FlyTampa's KSEA scenery is more detailed and actually less of a framerate hog than SimFlyers sceneries are, though!
