My mind has failed me...

What is the thing called that covers the front part of Airline engines? Specifically, the current Boeing RR Trent models. Is it noscule or something like that?

The terms nacelle and cowling are both used. Your photo captures a phenomenon (witnessed at sunrise and sunset) that some have mistaken for engine fires in the past. I know of one aircraft at CDG that had a full evacuation after the setting sun reflecting off the engine created the illusion it was on fire.
