Does anyone know a way to connect up to a tanker and refuel in the air with FS2004 ?? I'd love to be able to be flying my C-5 and pull up to a KC-10 and refuel... Is it possible ?

I suppose that the closest way to do it is to do a multiplayer flight, align the aircraft with the fuel boom, and then just hit Ctrl + X to automatically refuel (pretending it's coming from the boom).

Chances are that there's an add-on package somewhere that actually lets you refuel in mid-air, but I haven't found it yet.

I think the new Captainsim C130 Hercules expansion pack has aerial re-fuelling in it. Might be a bit expenive though if you're only going to use it for in flight re-fuelling.

Just buy x-plane. You can do aerial refueling on x-plane as well as fly a full reentry of the space shuttle manually. Now with its new 60gig scenery package it kicks MS FS9 ass. But then again I still use FS9 because my pc has only a 60GB hard drive.

Can you point me to where this is? I have the package and have read the documentation and searched the tech support and can't find anything on it.
