Scanning In Hawaii

Hye group,

im off to Hawaii this April and am wanting to take my scanner with me. Are there any restrictions etc for use of a scanner in Hawaii, and also, would anyone be able to point me in the direction of a good site with Hawaii frequencies.

I haven't heard of any issues regarding the use of radio scanners in Hawaii. I'm not certain, but I think I remember while I was out spotting at Hilo seeing other people with scanners. Hawaii, despite being in the middle of the ocean, is a part of the United States.  Smile
