tell me what would be your ideas that would be nice for the new fs.

i think this would be very nice::

When you launch fsim (2002?) you start in the terminal where you can walk with your pilot (the way you can walk in tomb raider for example) and you first can go to the meteo,
ceck the weather reports, then you do a walk around on the aircraft, go back in the terminal and by the aviobridge you walk into the aircraft, you can walk through the
whole plane, also inflight and also the cockpit is fully 3D. When you have reached cruise altitude you can walk through the plane also.

I think this will be a nice factor for new Fsim to make it even more closer to reality.

I think that making all the airports have dynamic scenery and airport structures like the Airport 2000 series would make FS so much more enjoyable, also to have cabin crew call buttons, seat belt/no smoking buttons as the 777-200pro add-on has. Also a better ATC system with real voices and differant accents for differant continents and country's. Also air dynamic air trafic with set paths, that don't suddenly disapear or do un-realisitic things would be great. With the airlines and planes flying that you would most likly see in which ever country you are flying in/over. These are just a few and there are a whole lot more but i can't think of them off the top of my head right now so these will have to do for the moment!  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

More detailed air traffic (not just DC-9s from made up airlines that dissapear at a certain altitude or take of and land at the same airport), graphics improvements on the coastlines, more detailed cities, better detail on the airports, better weather, etc. All pretty much what you would expect from a new version. If they are adding new aircrafts I would like a 747, but it would be smart for MS to add a plane that would appeal to the general public like a SR-71 or F-14. That would bring a lot of sales and nobody flies the default planes anyway.

Oh ya, it would also be cool if they spent more time optimizing the graphics and making them efficient so you don't have to wait months before you have a computer than can run it right  Smile.

I think something that is VERY important is good airports. We NEED gates, good taxiways, and most of the Major airports should look like major airports. Microsoft should take suggestions from add-on developers like Just-Flight, or Phoenix-Simulation. And please, do something about the default panels, Microsoft really needs to fix those up. And I dont think they should have stuff like F-14's and stuff, that is not what MSFlightsim is, if you want F-14's and fighter jets, they have those from other companies. It'll just ruin the classiness and uniqueness of MSFS. This is not a fighter jet simulator, it is more of a "commercial airtravel" simulator that we enjoy so much  Smile.

P.S. Microsoft came in with this too soon after the release of 2000. If anything, they should make all of the add-ons for FS2000 compatible with 2002.

Flight Sim 2000 New Version:

I like to see the interior view of the 777, and Concorde, we want to see a different plane than a Boeing 737-400, make it Boeing 757-300. All details that BA747-436 mentioned about smoking on/off, we wants to see realistic slats on wings for flaps & spoilers on all planes.

Add a commuter plane like Saab 2000 or DHC Dash 8-300, or Embraer 145 to take out the LearJet. Realistic vapor trails on all planes like 757-300 and 777. All Airports & Scenery to have taxi lines, and jetways for planes that is moveable when plane approach gates, and pushbush trucks.

Anything to add..... ??

Baec777  Big thumbs up

I dont really care about the F-14. Infact I don't care much about any default planes (I like payware ones) I just said that because it would be a smart choice for MS. It would get a lot of people to buy it, and if the make lots of $$$ it would be an incentive to keep improving the FS line in the years to come.

BTW I have ALL the jet combat sims  Smile
