Quoting SpeedbirdEGJJ (Reply 1): Cant imagine there been much demand for a JT8D at take power as a ring tone
I have the theme from 633 Squadron but I've no idea where I got it from - Vodafone, probably. It wasn't categorised as aviation, it was categorised as a film theme.

AIRLINERS.NET CREW HEAD SUPPORT
My tip is finding some snippets of atc on the web, either as wav files or mp3. Convert wav to mp3 and upload to your phone, then choose to use it as ringtone. Of course your phone must be able of using mp3's or realtones.
Edit: If you have Flight simulator there is a variety of warning sounds, and there are also sound sets to download from sites as avsim.com. those files are wav and can be converted to mp3

That one is pretty good for sounds. Download it in .wav and convert it to whatever you want and just put them on your phone, I have one of them not sure which though.

Quoting Nighthawk (Reply 10): I was just going to suggest that... the first person to have "50 40 30 20 10 RETARD RETARD RETARD" as a ringtone wins a cookie Big grin
Fine I'll do that, my last mobile dare was to put Shane McMahons "Here Comes the Money" entrance music as my ringtone and leave it ringing down the pub...
I do remember recoring "Retard" onto one of those personal dictators, was always funny to play at some inappropriate moment - till someone broke it

How about the WN "Ding" as a ringtone? But if you have that on your cellphone and also have "Ding" installed on your PC, it might confuse you trying to figure out which one is dinging.
IF you have FS2004, go into the main sounds page and there is all of them. Now open up Movie maker. Import sounds and import all of them sounds, then put them in order (make sure you have no images in the order box at the bottem) then Save to my computer and itll save it as an audio file. Connect your phone to your pc and send it over. Voila.
