Incredible! I love flying the Posky 767, but the Level D looks like it's from another world. Definitely going to buy it next year sometime, just waiting for a newer computer and see if they are going to do an upgraded version for FSX.
What exactly is Vatsim though? Is that basically where one hooks up to the internet and flies/interacts with other flight simmers?

Quoting Airfly (Reply 6): VATSIM is basically a network, where flight simmers fly and control.
In other words, you connect to this network, and fly with other people, while coordinating with ATC, just as in real life.
How reliable is it? Are the other internet connections ok? What would happen if you controler's modem quit?

It must be reliable, if it wasn't I wouldn't be using it Not everyone has a good ADSL, or a good connection, but it's rare to have any problems. If you are unlucky enough for you controller's modem to quit, you could wait, or just fly by yourself...
I know MANY people who joined IVAO not long ago, and they simply LOVE it.
Try it out...
I'm wanting to. Just need a bit more free time. I took out a WS 737 last night, but my FS crapped out on me just after take off.... . So I gotta get that all figured out before I can start, plus I gotta get a headset and such first.
Who knows, I might "run" into you guys one of these days up in the skies ...
