Herpa Model Shop In HKG

I was checking out the Herpa site today and found out that there was a shop selling models in the airport's departure hall.

I just wanted to ask a few questions for those of you who might have gone there previously.

The shop name is "Nobletime Ltd"

1) Do they sell civillian aircraft models in there

If the answer to that is yes than;

2) Are they more expensive than models available in Hong Kong
3) Do they have scale 1:200 plastic snap and fit models.

Well, of course if you shop around you will find the answer.. I didn't visit many but found the price QUITE even.

Some single models can be on sale at various times. I went to one shop in Mong Kok and I bought a Hawaiian DC-10 for $15HK. Best bargain on these models I have ever come across!

I didn't look for snap-fit 1:200's, only my Herpa 1:500's.

It's all about the destination AND the journey.

I've been to quite a few, but if you wait until you get to the airport, the Nobletime toys and gifts is a very good store inside the departures (airside) area, but the landside, i am not sure of.

Hope it helps. It REALLY helped me a lot because i aimless wandered around HK. I was told about the airbus shop in Des Voeux Road in the artsy part in Central. My brother told me about it. anybody know if it's still there? I will be in HKG at month's end.

Hong Kong is not China. Not better or worse, just different.

In the airport, HKG. there is a model plane shop. It's in the CX wing though. I saw a beautiful CX Hong Kong theme plane there. It was like 1:150 for 50 USD

The Model Shop in HKIA is a really nice place. i have considered buying a few models myself there but i found the prices WAY TOO HIGH to my liking. I dont know about Herpa models but I know that UML Models in Hong Kong is a really good place to find Dragon Wings models. It is their official distributor in the Main Land China region. Im pretty sure that they have other modesl too but thats all i know about it. i will check it out this summer 2008.

See for yourself and tell me how it is if you are going before me!!!
