Help! PC Turnoff In The Middle Of FS.

My Computor will with no warning just turn off in the middle of FS. What is this? it dosent do this on the internet just FS. Has this happended to you? is there anything I can do about this? replys greatly appresiated.

Sounds like a heat issue: Flightsim puts a heavy load on your machine, causing all the parts to generate a lot of heat. If a component reaches its maximum temperature the PC will turn itself off to prevent damage.

Check all the fans inside are working properly, and add some extra ones if need be.

do you get an error message when the pc restarts?Try taking the cover of the pc to keep the tower cool this worked for me.

It's not necessarily a heat issue... my computer kept restarting randomly on flight sim, turned out to be one of my sticks of memory- one was labeled incorrectly as PC3200 when it is actually PC2700 grrrrr.
