Well I see the site is up and running in a new format. Never heard any reply but then I have come to expect such lately. I guess the interest level is no longer here.

Hello 777guy,
justplanes.com is being simplified a bit, we get an enormous amount of traffic for our weekly Airline News and we've improved that.. Other than that the front page is going to basically be the same...
worldairroutes.com is exactly the way it was...

and as far as new dvds... We're working on 7 new World Air Routes programs, most should be released in 2006. We're also planning a couple of re-releases from videos starting with the first one in a few weeks. On the Airport front my guess would be 3 more this year...

as far as the interest level... not sure if you mean the interest of our website, dvds or this forum...

Wow! Seven possible JustPlanes DVDs in the next 4 months would be nice! I am sure the "interest level" is there, or they would not gamble on producing them.

JustPlanes I was wondering how you guys are able to capture the ATC sound through the camera? Is there some place on the camera you hook it up to, or is that just a expensive camera feature? I want to record a cessna 172 flight but I want to record the ATC sounds instead of just having it in the background.

A cessna 172 is significantly louder than an airline cockpit.

I know, I fly. But there is a way of having the communication go directly into the camera so that I'm not just recording the background sound.

The last time someone asked us about ATC recording it ended up being a guy who started his own line of dvds so I'm sure you understand if we don't share our recipes...

We do not have anything planned with Air Atlanta at this time however we have been in talks with them for about 6-9 months so something new in 2007 cannot be ruled out...

Right now none of the sold out dvds have been scheduled for a new run... I think sometime in 2007 we'll pick a few titles. The Air Atlanta will really depend on whether we do a new program with them or not..

141 Post contains images EMA747 : Its a pitty as I would like to see one of their 773ERs or A345s but they dont seem to be willing to allow filming from what I gather.
142 JustPlanes : We encounter problems with every project... some are easier to resolve, some harder... India is not the easiest place to film, that's for sure... but
143 JustPlanes : The pilots are Emirates are more than happy to have us... but management will never allow this... I can't go into details... but if you read the PPRu
144 EMA747 : Thats about what I guessed. It's a pitty when it has to be like this isnt it? It must be a bit frustrating for you guys to have pilots who are willin
145 JustPlanes : You are right, aviation enthusiasts are a tiny part of their passengers and it really won't matter to their finances whether we fly an airline or not
146 EMA747 : Very interesting. Thanks a lot for the insight. How did the flims with Air France, Swiss, Austrian, South African, Varig etc come about? Were they jus
147 Post contains images JustPlanes : When I feel I can do a deal with a larger carrier that will allow us to do what we want to do so that we can bring you the sort of stuff you are used
148 EMA747 : Is there any word on when the new Westjet DVD will be available at BUCHair in the UK? I'm looking forward to getting my hands on it.
149 Kappel : Hey JP, when can we expect some more reruns of old dvd's? I enjoyed getting my hands on the HV DVD.
150 JustPlanes : Judging from the fedex computer here it looks like their shipment is due to be delivered tomorrow (Thursday)...
151 JustPlanes : Re-runs of sold out dvds.. Nothing is planned right now but I would suspect that a few titles will get a new run in 2007. DVDs of old VHS.. Also expe
152 Kappel : Cool thanks... do you have a list of the video's that are not on DVD yet on your site?
153 CcrlR : I am watching the Westjet 737-600(got it today) with simulator and love the simulator part. Especially the emergency procedures like engine fire durin
154 JustPlanes : I tried to locate one but couldn't, sorry... and there were so many that I can't really type them either. I believe we made 200-250 programs on video
155 Jkudall : I got the Westjet 737-600 video yesterday and loved it! I especially liked the simulator footage! Has Just Planes thought of creating a forum on their
156 Kappel : Too bad. Hey, I noticed there is no DC8 DVD available (MK Airlines is sold out) Any chance of a DC8 DVD in the future? Thanks,
157 CcrlR : I usually use the comments under the video name. Good idea though.
158 Kappel : You can do that, but have the sneaking suspicion that only positive feedback is published on the site.
159 Post contains images JustPlanes : You mean to say that companies out there publish negative comments about their products? In any case we only get 2-3 negative comments a year on aver
160 JustPlanes : I'm not sure if there will be a new program on the DC8 however I would think that at some point we will release the Fine Air DC8 programs, previously
161 EMA747 : Is there any chance of the first SAA DVD being rereleased this year? I have heard many good things about it and would like it for my collection.
162 PILOTALLEN : Not trying to take any business away from the website, but one thing to check out for you guys wanting a sold out dvd is to check out Ebay...the price
163 Post contains images Kappel : Well, I don't really mean negative, but maybe a bit critical. I was a bit critical about the AOM DC10 DVD, but that was never posted. I did however g
164 JustPlanes : Right now there is no plan for another run of that program, I think we've already done 2 or 3 and since we're now selling their other program we woul
165 JustPlanes : I see what you mean... and I'll try to respond. All our dvds do not have cockpit presentations because it tends to be very repetitive. For example we

168 Post contains images JustPlanes : That is correct. I think the A340 seems to help French speaking Captains I seem to remember the AOM A340 Captain being very nice, the Air Tahiti Nui
169 JustPlanes : The idea would indeed be to combin both Fine Air programs onto 1 dvd which would be a great value as well... $50 or $60 for the 2 videos would be onl
170 Danny : Another question from the series "how about doing this airline" - have you tried Scandinavian, LOT (E170?) or Aer Lingus? Any chances?[Edited 2007-01-

172 EMA747 : Scandinavian would be right up there on my "airlines I want to see JP do" list. I was thinking the other day, have you tried Cargolux for a 747-400F
173 JustPlanes : You are totally right, when we do an aircraft type for the 1st time in the series we always try to cover the cockpit and instrumentation but unfortun
174 JustPlanes : Danny, we talk to pretty much every airline out there. If you don't see them in the series it means it does not work out...

177 EMA747 : I didn't know that. How long ago were these films? I would like to see them on DVD one day.
178 JustPlanes : Perhaps a bit of inside on that program... It was never filmed to be a Cockpit video... but to be part of a set of 3 kids videos we released on airpl
179 JustPlanes : Don't remember when they were filmed... all I can recall is that the B747-200 routed from New York JFK to Luxembourg via Detroit and Prestwick. I bel
180 CB777 : JP, any chance of Air Mauritius being featured in the series?
181 JustPlanes : Held talks with them twice... Doubt it... however we've been to Mauritius... not sure if it was Air Austral

185 Post contains images JustPlanes : I'm not 100% as to the delivery schedule because the factory that supplies our replication facility ran out of the new dvd cases we just started usin
186 Post contains images JustPlanes : That is very kind of you, thanks very much! Some companies out there claim they are the best, the leaders, the most professional... Good for them We
187 Midcon385 : justplanes, You're welcome. My friend, the dispatcher, was impressed as I am by the neat feature of the simulator aspect as well as the line flights.
188 EMA747 : I'll second that. Your films have given me hours of entertainment since I started buying them over 2 years ago. I now have 34 of your films and have

198 PILOTALLEN : a hint perhaps we flew into an airport that was bombed a couple of weeks later... I know which airport you are talking about...will keep that to mysel
199 EMA747 : OLBA? It was bombed last year. More likely is somewhere in Afganistan or other parts of the Middle East I think.
