I thought this would be an interesting discussion. There have been a few discussions on this topic lately, so I decided to start another one since it is really interesting reading bout other peoples flightsim experiences.
--> What was the last trip you did. What was it like. Talk about some details first, (i.e. Airplane, speed, crz alt., etc..). Did anything odd happen, cool, etc...Here is mine:

Nothing special, except I am gettingused to the FMC, because its way different than the PSS777, so I had to disengage autopilot during the descent and make a manual approach and landing. Everything else was pretty smooth.

60kt jet stream from east to west.
I read that someone here ran out of fuel on a 744 doing this flight so I decided to try it out. Everything went smooth and the "Cathay Pacific" method of the checkerboard approach worked so a smooth landing at Rny 13. Parked the plane at the outer bay.

Left a Cold, wet and low visability London's Heathrow on this lunchtime flight to LAX with a 3/4 full pax load. Initial cruise was set at FL330, with clearance to the following altitudes granted along the flight plan, FL350,370,390. Final cruise altitude reached over north - west coast of Scotland. Buffeted a bit by the 75kts head wind, but the big 744 handled it well. Cruising speed was mach 0.85, the flight took us over Iceland, the southern corner of Greenland, northern Canada and down over "KLAS". Made to do a 360 degree turn to avoid heavy trafic inc: 3 UAL 737's, 1 AA 757, 1 AA 767, and a few Delta 737's, also there were some shuttle services opperating but we were given priority as a "Heavy" service. Made a great Touch down at 15.18 in a reasonable day but with moderate cross winds on the ILS APR into LAX. Arrived at the International Terminal a few minutes later and were conected up with the AUX power suply and air bridge with engine shutdown at 15.28, all pax disimbarked by 15.40. Overall a great flight, arriving pretty much on time.
