Probably depends on which country your in/ordering it from.

The Uk release is currently 27th october, which means the USA release is probably the 24th or 17th October.

Games can always be delayed though.

Thats no surprise really, games for some reason are almost always released on tuesdays in the US and fridays in the UK.

Uk versions are often later because they tend (but not always) to be 'euro' versions with different languages installed.

Releases are in the USA first because it's a bigger market. Again there are some exceptions, mainly from UK/Europe based design teams.

Originally, I heard it was October 3rd, but that has since changed to the 17th. But Amazon.com still lists the delivery date for October 3rd.

I'd be surprised if there was such a big gap between USA and UK releases, but it's not impossible.

As of this morning, Wal-Mart as listing October 3rd on their website, but now, 6 hours later, they are showing the 17th...dangit!!! hissyfit

I got an e-mail from Amazon saying it was going to ship earlier, but it's on my other computer...When I get motivated to go over there, I'll see what it says...
