Contiental Airlines On Dubai

yesterday (Wednesday) at 10:30GMT, i saw a Continental airlines aircraft, in DXB,, could someone tell me why?
i never know that Continental fly Dubai.

It was a military charter, but just a ferry flight doing a crew change before going to KWI. (Saw it in KWI last night/this morning)

They have Doha Airport, and furthermore their base in Udaid is capable of handling any aircraft civil or military
i assume a technical/medical diversion
