This weekend, if weather holds up, I want to try to go out and spot near ORD. Anybody know of any spots where I will not be bothered by the cops? One spot I was thinking of is the Oasis on either 90 or the one on 294 near ORD. I used to work near the Oasis on 90 and we usually had traffic coming in over our building all of the time. I've heard another nice spot is the Target parking lot that is across 90 from ORD. This is my first time doing this and I want to try to get some nice pics.

Csturdiv - Looks like winds will be out of the NW tomorrow, 15-20mph gusting to 30mph. I'd bet on 27L/R arrivals. I've never spotted at the I-294 Oasis, so I can't say if you'd be bothered there. My fav spot is at Mannheim & Lawrence for 27L arrivals. I try to stay away from the Target lot - too many people wondering what you're doing and wondering if they should call the cops.

This is a great website for ORD spotting trips (albeit a little dated): http://chicagoaps.tripod.com/caps/id16.html
Spot No. 1 is at the 27L arrivals. As long as you DON'T park in the parking lot there and park on the Scott Street, you'll be ok. The Schiller Park cops come by every other time I'm there, but I've never once been stopped by them. I usually try to get over there by 11:30am for the international arrivals.

Enjoy! Its gonna be cold out there!

Thanks for the tips, maybe next weekend (Saturday of course, since I'll be watching a Bears win on Sunday) I will go out there. Woke up kind of late today and my weekend is already planned.
