Well today ive done EGSS-EIDW-KBOS
...........................Stansted-Dublin-Boston

And then it went pear shaped!! I meant to fly Boston-Las vegas, well 30 miles out i realised i was going to the wrong one! I had set off to KLVS, not KLAS! I ended up 500 NM away from destination, so I've re-routed and im on my way to the real las vegas, Lol!!

All the flights were a 747-400F

You love doing that flight, don't you? Everytime I look, you're going to Luanda!  Wink

Anyway, I'm currently flying ATL-AMS with an American Flight Airways 747-400. I'm positioning myself to AMS so I can join the AFA VATSIM fly-in tomorrow at LHR.

I've never flown into LHR online before, I hope I do OK!

Well, the last time I did the BA LHR-LAD-LHR run was 28/29 July 2006, 6 months ago, but this weekend I got back on it...

and now I am currently doing... (surprise surprise)...

BA076 Luanda - Heathrow
Boeing 777-200
G-VIIH

Sched Dep: 2355
Airborne: 1331 (13hrs 36mins late!)

Sched Arr: 0735
Expected: 2018

The heavy delay was because my girlfriend was here overnight and my life wouldn't have been worth living, had I started flying while she was here  rotfl .

Incidentally, the real BA076 hasn't even left Luanda yet - What the delay is I don't know, but you can bet it isn't the same reason my flight was delayed. The real world flight is also being flown by G-VIIH.

Flight of the Year:

I am about to start an around the world trip non-stop flight. I will take off in approx. 15 minutes, and fly along the equator all the way around the world. I will start in Singapore and end in Singapore. Total distance is 22.407,5nm. The whole flight will be done in real time of course

I will be using the Level-D 767-300ER in Boeing House colours and pretend that the 767 is full of extra fuel tanks, although I will put it on unlimited fuel.

This is what most of my route looks like:

(Yes, I know I am crazy )

btw: I am flying towards West to make the route extra long as it takes more time flying towards West than East :P

It wasn't that bad... I didn't have charts, luckily they were accomodating. It was thick and foggy, and I got handed off to the tower and cleared to land less than 2 miles away, but I still managed a PERFECT approach and landing... and of course, a sudden disconnect as soon as I vacated 27L!  Yeah sure
