My first vid, so please go easy on me. Don't ask me why I got the ATC chatter in it. Somehow, when I was listening to Socal Approach, the chatter got recorded (even though the airport was FRA and not one of the many in Socal).

Quoting QFA380 (Reply 1): The only problem I guess would be the zooming in, I wonder if there's a tool that can make fluid zooms...
Active Camera.
Stay away from making videos unless you've got fluid zooms and decent frame rates.

I can't get the fluid zooms to work in Active Camera (at least not in Tower view). The takeoff part was recorded from the tower view and in bad weather.
Another problem is that, when I record a video, framerates go down drastically, even though I usually get good frames, even in LHR or FRA.

Quoting Jamesbuk (Reply 4): If you are using the free version of fraps your framerates will go down and it will record in low rates, I belive its better as payware though!
I'll see if it is worth it. I'm just starting out and I don't think I'll do this often. Perhaps some things I know from 10 years ago in Film class will come back.
