I have some photos ( 6 x 4 ) which i took back in 1991 at Miami airport from a departure gate window looking at a Virgin atlantic 747 while waiting to board, i like the photo and i would like to put it in the a.net database, doing this i will have to scan it, could someone please tell me what settings i should scan the picture at ie: how many dpi and what size would be recommended for uploading. i have scanned pictures in the past and sent them to a.net but they where not accepted due to poor quality, advice/help would be appreciated, many thanks.

What scanner are you using ?
I would recommend using something that scans at least at 4800X4800 dpi such as the Canon Canoscan CS7000F, and even then, I am not sure that the results would be a.net material.
Your best bet would be to purchase a negative/slide scanner instead.
