Hi all...

I'm not a person who likes to start topics like this but having the doubt to appeal vs to ask here perhaps I've found this way a bit more productive.
Of course I'm not criticizing any screener as I understand there are, as it's reasonable, differences from one screener to another...

I have troubles now why I have almost two identical photos, one accepted and another rejected, in order to try to upload in the future no so many rejections....

The rejected one...........

The accepted one..........

Can anybody to give me a light?

Thank you in advance....

Both are beautiful snaps Enrique. However I notice some reddish cast in the rejected one in my computer. Maybe it was rejected incorrectly....though I may be wrong.

Thanks Vas.... but the rejection stands for a motive problem...

Hi Enrique,

Quoting VasanthD (Reply 1):
Maybe it was rejected incorrectly

I meant the screener might have chose the wrong checkbox while rejecting. Just an assumption ...coz I believe the motive is good enough for A.net Big grin

Hi Enrique - how are you?

I think this is just down to individual preference. My guess is that the screener did check the right box, but s/he felt this was neither a close up shot, nor a complete image, because of the missing tail. I think they will have felt that the shot falls between 2 types of motive, hence their rejection.

But, as you point out with your own example, others would be happy with the shot. Unfortunately in this context motive is a subjective call. But you never know - if you explain your case the Head Screeners might have a sympathetic viewpoint. For me the problem with the current system is that you might feel the risk of an appeal is not worth it, because of the added rejection if an appeal fails.

But if you feel strongly and can put aside the potential impact on your statistics, it may be worth a try.

Take good care.

Hi Paul...

Thank you too for your support. The problem is not my low rate of acceptance which I don't care at all... probably because I just upload a mean of 5 or ten photos per month..
I have the same feeling with the rejection, and it's right, is not a whole a/c nor a 1/3 front part of the airplane... but "my" problem and the doubt I have is why one yes and the other no..
My first photo accepted should be a case law..making the others to be acceptable...
If we clarify this, as other matters well commented here will be in benefice of the site..... as clear as water......

Cheers

Enrique
