How is this lens? Is it good for Aviation photography? (upto 50mm).
How does it compare with the Canon and sigma rivals?

There are some pretty good reviews on it in the web, but what do the Anet photgraphers think?

Excellent lens. Tack sharp and a good performer. Here's an example of mine.

With a thin circular polarizer used, natch.

Thaks for your reply. I think no-one else on the this forum uses this lens. I've heard it is better than the 17-40 L lens (F/4).

I am using it with my Nikon and I am extremly satisfied. It is very sharp.

I didn't have much opportunity to test it since I bought it recently but one and only photo taken with it that I tried to upload was accepted the first time
