I lived near VNY and SNA at different times. ![]() Photo © Matthew Wallman For SNA the most popular place to shoot is at the threshold of 19R. It is in a business park on Airport Loop Dr. It is an afternoon spot as well.
You can also go down Airway Ave to the threshold of 1L and shoot departures. ![]() Photo © Matthew Wallman I had a morning spot for SNA but it is closed now.
