Hello. I'm new here, my name is Laura. I'm a very amateur airplane watcher, I don't have an expensive camera or anything. I took a picture last winter at Gander Airport, and it's not very good.. but I really want to know what airline and what kind of plane it is. Besides not having an expensive camera, I was driving in one direction while the plane was moving in another. There was snow, a fence, a sign, a gloomy overcast day, etc. I'm pretty sure that someone on here will have no trouble identifying the plane and airline, though. Thanks in advance.

American Trans Air (ATA) Boeing 737-800. I'm assuming it would have been on a military charter perhaps.

Wow.. you guys are GOOD! As bad as the picture is, you still knew. Thank you so much. I've been wanting to know that for months now.

No problem.  bigthumbsup  The tail logo was a dead give away, plus you can see part of the third "A" in the ATA titles towards the front of the fuselage.
