Topic: SQ A380 J Cabin Shot Username: VSUpperClass Posted 2008-09-12 15:32:15 and read 2208 times.Hi this will be my first post on airliners.net so bear with me haha.
Right I have booked to go on SQs A380 in a few weeks, in economy. Looking forward to it a lot!
Just wondering, I have requested to sit upstairs for a few reasons and after reading many trip reports have found tthat I will (hopefully) be walking through the new business class cabin! So i was wondering which would be best for airliners.net standards, a photo from the front of the J cabin or the back?
Also can anybody post a picture of SQs economy amenity kit that I am likely to expect, since I have not yet managed to find a single picture of it!
Any replies would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

Look at existing cabin shots and decide. I suspect the majority are taken from the back to avoid showing the faces of other pax.
Personally, I think they look better from the front but they need to be empty. Sometimes, if you ask the crew nicely, they might let you board a couple of minutes early so you can take some shots.

and if they won't let you (I can imagine preparing the A380 might be stressful ). maybe ask them if you can stay in a couple of minutes after everyone got out. Before or after, I hope you can get the pictures and can“t wait to see them

Yes I agree I really don't like seeing other pax's faces either since its the cabin i'm interested in when i'm looking at the photos, not them! Hmm I could try but I have onward connections from both flights with little time inbetween so it would depend how much time I have. Haha thanks ill let you know when they're uploaded . I have checked out the boarding, doesn't seem to manic, especially if i get the seats on the upper deck since there is a separate gate and gangway(gangway shared with Business class pax's) for Economy passengers seated in the small section upstairs! (which makes you feel a bit more special ) aswell as the two other doors used for Suites and Economy on the lower deck (likely to be the most manic of them all)
Anyone have any idea about the amenity kit??
