Maybe the professional photographers here can help me? We are having an argument if the above picture is real or not. I did a bunch of Googling but could not confirm really if it actually is true or fake. Supposibly its an ANA plane flying a panda from China to Japan. I'm sorry for the low quality, Having not flown ANA ever I can't really even tell if that part is true or not.

well, this is definitly no living panda....
A good friend of mine brought his daughter a toy panda with a size like in the picture back home from a business trip to japan. The plane had enough empty seats so that he could take it on board. Maybe it's the same here

Hi.
A panda in an emergency row? I doubt it. A panda is dangerous in case of an emergency because he can't put the lifejacket by himself and can block the exit.

Contrary to popular belief, pandas aren't really friendly towards humans. So I doubt they would let one "sit" in a passenger cabin.

I really don't think there are going to let a wild panda on board a passenger aircraft; Even if it was a trained Panda.
Also, If I was flying this airline and saw live panda boarding the plane, I would probably change flights. I guess that's a personal preference for safety reasons.

looks like an emergency row to me. however, I cannot read that language above the door that preceedes "EXIT". Maybe it says "NOT AN".

this is NOT how priceless and dangerous pandas travel. Im now wondering if that traveler purchased a seat for that stuffed animal.

I don't care if it looks fake, is fake or whatever - simple fact is that NO airline would flout quarantine rules like this, especially ANA.
No matter how real this looks, logic should tell you that it's an impossibility.
