Mornings, there is an area across the street from the old fire station at the southeast side of the field that is good for north-bound traffic. There is even a picnic table to sit at, but don't try to stand on it, as its very unstable. ![]() Photo © David Lednicer Afternoons, the mounds at the Future of Flight and the Stratodeck are good for south-bound traffic:
There is also a nice little hill just south of the Historic Flight Foundation that is good for afternoon north-bound traffic: ![]() Photo © David Lednicer Don't forget to visit the Flying Heritage Collection, Museum of Flight Restoration Center and the Historic Flight Foundation, at the southeast, northeast and southwest parts of the field:

Power cables for the runway lights are being replaced alongside the Alpha taxiway, the A8 and A9 intersections are closed while construction vehicles work around there.
