Hello. I am travelling for the holidays and have a day at LAX, and I was wondering if anyone has had any issues clearing TSA with their scanner in their carry-on. Thanks.

I have never had a problem with mine (BWI, DCA, IAD, LAX, MCO, TPA, BDL, DEN, to name a few).

Note:
Mine has a detachable antenna, and when it is in my camera bag it is detached from the scanner. I have had TSA search my bag multiple times with it (DAB, LAX, BWI, etc) and I found out (at LAX) that they like to look at the antenna (on the X-Ray it looks like something ''bad'') so I generally put the antenna separate from the bag in the tray with my shoes so if they choose to take a peek at it they don't have to search my bag.

Thanks so much for the prompt reply, and mine also has a detachable antenna, so I think it might work. Anyone else feel free to chime in.

I have travelled with mine across the border canada/US and within the US without any issues. You should be fine.

Thank you, alevik, for your feedback, I actually just got off the phone with TSA and they said it would be fine.
