Hi Everyone,
The big week in Miami is here! I hope we will see some of you at MIA or FLL or at the convention hotel. This is entirely a free exercise as there are no charges by the organizers for this event(s).
On Thursday, the attendees will be gathering at FLL's viewing area next to the 9L threshold for a day of photography commencing in the morning approx 1000H . Ramp tour at MIA on Friday (already full).
The South Florida newspaper, the Sun Sentinel, will be sending a reporter and photographer to write a story on Aviation Photography sometime in the late morning around 1100H too. If you are attending or a local fan, please consider being there.

Unfortunately I couldn't make it as this week was a really busy time at work. Next year for sure! Nice to see some familiar faces in that news story. Also good to see our hobby being portrayed positively in the news. I'm long overdue for a FLL spotting trip, maybe next weekend.

A friend posted a video of the A380 taking off. When that thing rotated, you could hear
a bunch of people having orgasms!!! 
Too bad the weather crapped out. I hear there were issues with shooting the 707.

Not a perfect side on shot, but we got it at its parking spot during the tire change (it blew a tire on the last test flight return). Will post those pics when i process them.
The weather was not the usual however we did get shots as seen above.
