As your budget, I would recommend you to buy one of these two sets.
Nikon F70 ( or the coming F80), AF 70-300 4-5.6 lens & AF 28-80 Lens.
Cannon EOS5, EF75-300 4.5-5.6 lens & 28-80 lens.
It is the best choice for aviation photography.
