Hi Daryl,

Congratulations.
Always nice to know your shots are appreciated and that people like to watch them.

Nice shot! Thinking of those days at Kai Tak makes me warm inside....what a place!

All the best,

I wish I had been to Kai Tak..
With all those great pictures and experiences you guys had had during the time before it closed..

Id feel pretty sad that such an airport does not exist anymore..

Was it Really that good out there?? How bout the concern about dangers of low aircraft and the thought that if a plane got in trouble and mayhem occured..
how would that be like at such a crowded city??

I really wish that I could go there too like some of you guys..

With that picture..
As Long as its Korean Air.. My national Airline even though I live in Canada...

I love it.. Elegant and graceful....over 1200 hits so far..
Keep it up//

Thank you .

Bo Kim, that KE 742F is very lucky not to have made a big mess of that landing !!. I saw some of the worst landings made by KE 744's and one 747SP that I will never forget.

Lets hope they have got there act together now and we do not have to see anymore accidents.

Thanks again.

Jeffrey,

I hope you dont see a landing like this at Amsterdam !!

Gary,

Thank you.

Hey,

aren´t you the guy who shot the NCA engine strike? Great shots, are there just the two or do you have some kind of "miniseries?"

Hi Daryl

that is a great shot - you may not remember myself and a friend - we visited HK in 1994 and met you and Colin and you showed us some of the best places to take pictures from.

Yes we certainly remember you! I now fly for Cathay on the 744 and Daryl also remembers you. He says Hi. He can't reply right now as he is on the phone with me!!!

When are you coming to HKG again?

Colin.

Yeah,

When are you coming to Hong Kong again ????

Talking of Kai Tak I was just watching a friend of mine scanning more of my pics. His house is just beyond the end of the old runway at Kai Tak. Even today when I got off the bus I looked up in the shy, but there is nothing anymore  Crying
