I made another quick trip to Seattle thursday and friday. Guess what? It rained. Driving around at 4pm I was wondering were the BA 744 was. It was late, I caught it far out on approach, drove like crazy under the runway, and found a little pull off spot. Uh oh, Police car about 20 feet away, no idea if I can squeeze in this monster with 200mm at this distance. Policeman never blinked an eye at me. Royal must have broken the guy in awhile back.
Same plane, same spot by the looks of it. Royal had better weather....and yes, it is risky standing there avoiding getting run over for a shot like that. Fun though.
I am going back this tuesday and wednesday.....what is the weather forcast?
Royal, can you bring that wobbly old ladder that Sam left you to the airpark tuesday?

jeff, do you travel on business? if you have some free time you should make the trek up to the Great White North while there and visit YVR. Great spotting there, about 2 and a half hrs north of SEA.

It was good. Met Royal at the Mid-Field Air Park late in the afternoon. I was down closer to the museum in one of the back parking lots prior to that. Yes the weather was excellent! Get anything good? Hell, I don't know....I didn't really think the above picture was that great....shows ho much I know!
