Dear all,
About a month ago i decided to get more involved in plane photography...
I bought an slr and started to take shots
In the beginning i was quite depressed from the first results but i have to say that thanks to the info i got from alot of people here at A.Net i believe i have improved the way i shoot pics. Big thumbs up
I have untill now 46 pictures on the database and i would like to ask if somebody has the patience and time to go over them and give me his views/suggestions.
The problem i have is that here in Ath the spots to take shots are limited and i feel i'm repeating myself with the same pix...
Any feedback would be greatly apreciated. Smile

Nice, clear and very well exposed. At least better than mine.

Those look good keep up the good work. On the nose shots, you could try to get in closer on a few. I noticed a few of the in-air ATR shots weren't too centered, you could work on that a little bit. Just keep shooting, and over time you'll get even better.

Hello,
The pics look great, only thing I can think of is not shooting with the sun behind your back, try not to shoot against the sun or when its a high sun around 12PM-130PM other than man your on a roll.

I only wish I could have had pictures THAT good when I started. Then again, I started on much smaller equipment than yours($20 P&S  Smile), I only recently got a decent zoom lens. Keep it up dude...

I disagree about shooting into the Sun.

Properly done it can be a good effect. There are plent of good shots on airliners shooting into the sun

Hi Bill

I also like your shots. They do not look repeated at all.

I wish I was able to get to ATH before the old airport closes.

Thanks to all for the responses..
Regarding the sun directly in the lens i've noticed it many times but the problem lies in the spots where you can stand and shoot which are limited and most of the times the sun is directly opossite to you.
Btw Gary i wouldn't bet that good old Hellinikon will close and Spata open on the 28th.
The roads to get there are really a mess and all the airlines are mad for the very expensive landing fees.
Today Olympic announced that it will cut with the summer seasson flights to islands as they face fierce competition by the Ferry companies and it's easier to go to Pireaus harbour than the new airport!!!!  Nuts
Anyway thanks again for your time and comments.
Best regards
