Hi guys,
last week I post a topic called "Johan rejected these photos. Please help!"
Most of you said that I should get a better compression. Now I scanned
my shots again and got a better compression (I hope). They will be
compressed more by upoading them, so I hope they will get their quality
back. Please take a look and write me back if your shots look like these shots before you upload them.

Thank you very much!
Best wishes
Ivica

The shots definitely have something but If you ask me

Still too much Jpeg compression.

Btw...it would be better if you just give us the link instead of posting them right into the forum, just a thought to consider.......

I saw your previous pics and now these. I have to say that these are worse. The compression you should have done should be less but now it is more!!! More compression means more 'big squares' in the picture and lower visual quality. What software do you use? Try to save as .jpeg and when it asks you about quality set it to maximum. If it asks you about compression set it to minimum. Lower or no compression means better quality and that's what you should do.

Whoa...I think these are worse. When you save it as a .jpg, DO NOT add ANY compression. It looks to me as if you used the maximum amount.

What program, and what level of JPEG compession was used?

They look better than before, but they are still kind of blurry. The JAL MD11 looks nice though. The BA 737 looks ok, but the nose area is blurry. The LH 747 shot is interesting, but still a bit blurry and grainy. Try sharpening the edges on that.
That shot you have of the 707 flight deck looks a lot like one of my shots...I guess you took that at the Museum Of Flight?
Here's my shot of it

No, As long as you compress you lose quality. These are better now but you still need to COMPLETELY REMOVE or minimize more the compression. For example, In the Lufthansa and Hapag LLoyd pics you can still see these small boxes in the sky. This is a bad sign and this means that there is still compression. Do not compress the pics at all. This way you will have more chances for acceptance. The photos will be compressed by the server.

Hi Wilsam,
yes, I took that 707 cockpit shot in Seattle. I have been there in April. I also took some shots of "City of Everett" 747. Did you go to Everett? It was not pretty nice there!

Hi

Despite an e-mail from myself regarding the compression thing, you have not taken any notice of the mail at all!

Do what I told you to do and things should be OK.

I agree that they are worse and should be binned straight away.
