Is it really that bad?

No, its not that bad, its just... Well, put it this way, we don't accept a lot of pictures of small parts of airplanes (if you can call that engine small!) and "bit shots" have to be really interesting to make it here.

i learnt that the hard way, as well.

maybe if you got it from the front with the tail logo in the background, or from the back with the nose, or took it with the wingtip in the shot it would have been more interesting  Smile.

What the FUTT?

Hi Andy,

perhaps I'm wrong, but such an engine is always interesting !!!

I had to "fight" with a Chinese police guy to take this shot. Well, I know that this is not enough to have it accepted.

However, well, next time I will find a more interesting 777 engine !!

Bye from Italy.

Daniele.

Daniele,

Interesting or not (and I'm not about to cast judgement one way or another in public), I'm just telling you what the rules that we screeners are required to implement are, that's all.

Well, it is just an engine. We have seen them before, this one does not really stand out as unique.

Don't take it personal, you asked. Remember?

Hi Jeff,
really no problem at all.
I just asked it only to know what is wrong with my pics.

That's all, engine shot must be unique.

Oh, well, I will be in Guangzhou again next month, so I will ask a cop to go inside the engine, it will be a unique shot Big grin Just kidding.

Bye.
Daniele
