Big thumbs up Tamsin (or Tasmin as Glenn says ) . Very nice to have a brilliant aviation photographer who on top of that is also a female. I have to say your an example for us all, and all the traveling you do still makes me wonder where you find the money and time. I'm sure a certain Reading supporter will have some nice words to say...

Thanks everybody for your very kind words, I am so happy to finally reach 1000. Like everybody, I thought I'd never be good enough to ever get one photo on here, then I got my first, then a few more, etc.
As Colin's noticed, I do try hard to avoid "the beaten track" and to capture some stuff that's not been seen before on airliners.net - I hope that adds a little something to the database.
In trying to capture something different, I've seen some bizzare things and met some amazing people. Surely the most bizzare moment I've had was standing in the middle of Harwich International Port at 02:00 in the morning, chatting to some Dutch truck drivers, while taking pictures of a 727. That was just a little surreal!
This is turning into an oscar speach, but I'd just like to thank:
Ben for just getting better and better - the best example there is for keeping trying harder,
Andy for always talking sense (and taking better pictures than me!),
Gary for the best "eye" in the business,
Colin for his amazing knowledge,
Finally Peter Unmuth, because when I grow up I want to take pictures just like Peter.
